The Knights of Columbus have been supporting and working with the Bread and Honey Festival for a number of years.

Along with supporting some of the happenings on the grounds, our main focus is running the gates for the Festival.

Our Volunteers man the gates from Friday evening to late Sunday afternoon.

The Knights of Columbus is supported by the Festival and in turn, we provide support to the many Charities in Mississauga that are in need of financial and physical support.

The Streetsville Lions Club is a community based group of volunteers with a motto of "service to others."

Through our fundraising events, we support the humanitarian needs of our community and international projects.

Our community service involves our participation in The Bread and Honey Festival, Terry Fox Run, Canada Day Celebrations, The walk for Guide Dogs, Christmas in the Village and many more.

In giving to others, our reward is in their health and happiness.

Masonry, or Freemasons are the World's oldest and largest fraternity.  Numbering around 6 million worldwide and founded first in England in 1717, we are an organization primarily set up to make good men, better. We are not a religion but rather a unique gathering of all religions. Only a steadfast belief in a Supreme Being is necessary to become a member. We call each other brothers because we believe that we are all equal and on the same level with one another. Our primary belief in giving to charity focuses thru our ideals of brotherly love, relief, and truth.

The Streetsville Masonic Temple was founded by Brother Robert Barber back in 1877, who was the first master of the lodge. The Temple at 11 Thomas St. was built in 1955 and then rebuilt in 1957, when Hurricane Hazel took off the third floor. It now is home for four masonic lodges. River Park No.356, West Gate No.734, South Gate No.674, and Joseph A Hearn No.685. We actively support many charities and charitable organizations thru personal giving as well as volunteering. We are presently focusing on building a cabin for Scouts Canada in Haliburton,  as well as donating to Prostrate Cancer Canada. Our mission is diverse and local as we have donated to Eden For Change food Bank in Mississauga as well as ReGeneration outreach in Brampton.  At the Bread and Honey festival we volunteer to run the Beer Garden. This allows us to serve our local community better.
